Amber Waves Farm, Market & Cafe
Yes, we are a nonprofit teaching farm. Amber Waves unites food and community with the mission to provide educational opportunities in agriculture for aspiring growers, thoughtful cooks, and eaters of all ages. We are a vertically integrated farm, market, kitchen, and community organization. We’re training farmers, feeding families, and educating all eaters. Would you like to support our work? Well-behaved pets are welcome to be leashed outside in the sideyard but are not allowed in our growing fields or food-production zones beyond the farm gates. As an active food production space, according to USDA health regulations, we are not permitted to allow dogs or pets of any kind inside our market. For clarity, we encourage all service animals to be identified in uniform when working inside our market. You can visit them anytime the main farm gate is open. Do not feed our animals or enter fenced animal enclosures for health and safety reasons. You may pet the goats through the fence. We encourage you to wash your hands at one of our hand-washing stations after petting them. You can use our secure platform to become a recurring monthly donor or make a one time contribution to our work. Your contribution helps us train the next generation of farmers, educate all eaters, grow food for our neighbors, and offer open exploration on our community farm. Here are other ways to give: Double Your Donation with an Employer Match!Your gift could be matched dollar for dollar by your employer. Gifts of Stock. A gift of stock may provide more benefits than a cash gift and you receive tangible tax-savings.
